General Maintenance Guidelines

Being proactive with preventive and regular measures is the best way to ensure your vehicle stays reliable, and we are here to help. Our goal is give you the best vehicle service

Below you will find some general maintenance interval guidelines developed by industry sources. 

  • Inspect lights and check tire pressure - at least once a month

  • Oil and filter change - 2,000 to 10,000 miles depending on the type of oil or 3-6 months which ever comes first

    • Synthetic oils have been designed to last longer​

  • Belt & Hose inspection - 3,000 to 5,000 miles or 3-4 months​

  • Brake Inspection (Pads and Rotors) - 6000 miles

  • Replace air filters (Cabin and Engine) - 12,000 to 24,000 miles

  • Replace fuel filter - 24,000 to 100,000 miles

Tune Up
Changing Filter
  • Wheel alignment - 12,000 to 24,000 miles or as needed as indicated by uneven tire wear

  • Cooling system flush & fill - 40,000 to 100,000 miles

  • Belt & hose replacement - 60,000 to 100,000 or 5-8 years

  • Engine timing belt replacement - 60,000 to 100,000 miles or 5-8 year

  • Air conditioning performance check - Annually, usually in the spring just before it gets warm.
